My Project

Thank you for checking out my project! My goal is to help keep my kindergarteners safe and to keep them coming to school! We have had a very hard year with so many different illnesses circulating our building. Every teacher that I know is fighting to stay healthy and to keep their students healthy!!

Having quality cleaning products to use each day is so important to keeping our students and staff safe.

To keep students from spreading germs we have to be actively cleaning multiple times a day, right along with teaching and supporting all of our students other needs. Although time consuming, it is not an area we can or do take lightly especially this time of year. Supplies such as quality hand sanitizer, quality paper towels, and quality disinfectant are a huge help with fighting germs and preventing illnesses. An air purifier would help immensely to eradicate even more germs throughout each day!!! (Remember, we are talking about a room full of 5 year old children who love to play, talk and to explore their world aka touch everything!) We want to do everything that we can to support our students staying healthy, and as a result we will hopefully see a decrease in our students currently struggling with attendance! It is a vicious cycle but with a little support we can help to put a stop to it!

Although we have many wonderful custodial members working so hard each day to fight germs with provided school sanitation materials, it needs to be more of a joint effort to truly keep everyone safe and at work/school. This is a hard year for sickness! Thank you for reading!
