My Project

I think these charts and hand-held items will greatly help the students understand geometry.

Unlike when we were kids, 3rd graders now learn about vertices, angles, surfaces, faces, and prisms; and are expected to memorize various 2D and 3D shapes.

These are difficult concepts, and I want to provide more than a math book to help their understanding. Being able to give them posters to refer to during math work, and items to hold in their hands, will make my geometry lessons more effective and give kids more chances to memorize these tough concepts.
