Geometry and History Montessori Materials

Help me give my students new history and geometry materials. Montessori materials are created to draw students in to their lessons and explore their work at an independent level.

My Project

My students are 4th, 5th, and 6th graders in an urban Montessori school. They thrive when presented with chances to show what they've learned and gain a sense of independence at doing work themselves. Students are constantly learning from one another in our mixed-grade classroom. These materials will help my students to learn more about the fundamental needs of people throughout history and learn more about ancient civilizations. The geometric cabinet is essentail for all Montessori classrooms, but we have found ourselves without one. The six drawers have various shapes for students to practice naming, organizing, and measuring.
