This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are eager to learn about various places around the United States of America. The rug will help the students have a better understanding of where each state is located, as well as what each state is known for such as landmarks, economic contributions to a local, national, and global market, as well as historic places to visit. This rug will help my students have a better understanding of geography and will help create positive school memories that will last a long time.
