My students need these 3 iPads to learn through apps such as Prodigy, Imagine Learning, Starfall, Moby Max and so many more websites/apps.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are future leaders. My students are fighters. My students are brave. Those are just some and many more qualities I see every day in my students. Family life isn’t always rainbows and butterflies and they could easily give up but they do the very opposite. They challenge themselves; they set goals and strive to do better each time. That’s what makes them brave.
I teach these clever, funny and driven students who despite having to try harder than most students because of their learning disabilities, they continue to make progress and reach their goals.
These future leaders are also tech savvy. They figure out new shortcuts and easier ways to log-in or log-off. They actually teach me new things and help one another. My students are truly learning how to keep up with the 21st Century.
My Project
Most students get exposure to technology through school but we only go to computer lab once a week. There are iPads at our school we use but we cannot download other apps besides the ones our school already has (Imagine Learning) to continue student learning. As a teacher, I do not want to over use Imagine Learning, so that's why I believe getting these three iPads would inspire them even more.
Having these iPads would help bridge part of the gap using other apps to help my students advance the studies.
One of the additional apps we want to be able to download is Prodigy. Prodigy will give them a question about math and if they answer correctly they get to play their avatar with other students who are also logged in. A website we use is Moby Max. This website allows them to go over both ELA and Math concepts which adjusts automatically to their needs. Other apps we can use would be Math Cards, Splash Math, Little Bee ABC, AlphaBetty, BT Sightwords, Tootastic Jr., and the list can go on.
Overall, iPads are an essential because all the learning is being majority done through technology. My students can bridge their learning gap by using IPads. They could also learn how to navigate a device and eventually add a key board to type.
