Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are from low socioeconomic backgrounds and have limited resources to use both in and out of school. At the same time, my class is full of eager learners who enjoy experiencing new opportunities and using new technology in order to learn.
My students are "book worms," mathematicians, and explorers to the fullest and would love to expand their knowledge of a variety of topics.
They have developed into young boys and girls who would soar and succeed to their full potential if only given the proper resources!
My Project
My students come from low socioeconomic living situations where they have limited access to the newest technology. Most students do not have a lot of experience with Apple products - which in today's modern work world, will be a necessary skill for them.
My job is to prepare my students to be as college and career ready as possible, given their current circumstances!
With that being said, my students will need to obtain specific skills so that when it comes time for them to work in the real world, they will be educated cyber citizens and be in literate in digital technology! With the use of iPads and a Smart Keyboard, my students will be able to obtain these skills as they move from classroom to classroom!
