Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Do you love hands-on learning. My students learn so much more doing than just reading. This is a hands-on learning experience they will never forget.
My students are 7th grade students full of love for learning science.
They are very excited about all the great hands-on labs we do!! Get excited with us!! They are hard working low to mid income students. I have several ELL, special ed and special needs students. These projects are the perfect way to teach to all students.
My Project
This project is one my students return years later and still talk about! They make a mom and a dad pet and then we have a wedding! From that, they make babies using a Punnet Square model. Then they create an entire family, which is so cute and so much fun, yet very educational! To complete the project I am in need of felt, pipe cleaners, and curly hair.
The kids become very creative with the craft materials, instead of just construction paper.
