My Students

My students are amazing! Despite the challenges we face, we have been growing our minds, characters and bodies. Our school is a Title I school, with a 34% mobility rate. Our school has about 50% English Language Learners. We are consistently working on building our community up in academics, social/emotional welfare and to help their physical well being.

My students learn in so many different ways!

I try to provide opportunities for learning through hands-on activities, research, partner learning, listening, reading, and working towards solving community concerns.

My Project

Generation Genius engages the students on so many different platforms. It gives teachers great lessons that are already written that engage the students and that align with the new Utah SEED standards for science. It offers videos, exit tickets and teacher resources. The students ask to re-watch the videos and are always excited to participate in the various science activities.

Because this is an on-line platform, students can engage in the lessons from home when they are sick or quarantined.

Teachers can assign tasks online for the whole class if the class is quarantined and moves to online learning.
