My Students

My students come from a low socio-economic area. They are students with learning disabilities, emotional trauma and medical needs. They are fun loving, talented, and driven young people who strive to do their best everyday. They always come to school with a smile and love to be with their teachers learning in any way they can. I love that they come from a disadvantaged background but love to be at school learning everyday.

They do not get to experience much of the world in which they live, other than home and school.

My Project

My students are currently at school, but we may transition to at home learning at any time. I would like to be able to offer them science curriculum that is easy for them to understand. I work with students with learning disabilities across multiple grade levels. The school district has purchased a reading and math curriculum for them to use already, however, not an online science curriculum that would meet my students' needs. I would also be using this online science curriculum in my classroom if we remain in person.
