Help me give my students an opportunity to see life in action. We will be using this set up to learn about animal life cycles, ecosystems, adaptations as well as about conservation.
My 4th grade class (67 students) attend WCA. WCA is a local Charter School located in NC. We have students (K-8) from all over Eastern NC. We are a Parent's Choice school and our students rise to all challenges. We are considered an Urban School but continue to defy stereotypes. Our students are driven, inspired and loved.
Scholars can learn more actively and be more invested when they have the opportunity to experience science!
This project will give them the tools they need to be part of the action and take a role of responsibility for their own education.
My Project
These two little fellows and their set-up will allow the 4th grade students to see and experience life in action. They will be give our scholars a first hand opportunity to learn about animal adaptations, characteristics, conservation and life cycles.
Being able to see life and learn first hand is so much more interesting than reading about it in a textbook.
Having the opportunity to watch these geckos and take part in being responsible for their care will allow students to take on an active role in their education. They will be able to experience science and not just hear about it! This project will provide my scholars to learn science through Geckos!
