This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is the first year that G. Leadership Academy will have a girl's volleyball team and we are almost all set with gear! Being a Title I school and already having the families of players purchase some of their own personal gear like knee pads and shorts, I want to make sure that each of the players has an opportunity to look unified, be organized, and prepared.

Most of these girls have never played or been on a team and providing each of them with a way to carry gear will help tremendously with organization and preparedness.

The super touch volleyballs will be our designated game balls so that we have adequate equipment when hosting others.
