Help me give my students a working sound system in the ECHS Auditorium. We desperately need a system to not only continue to offer concerts and live theatre, but also for assemblies and other school wide activities.
Our high school is a highly diverse school in Columbus County Schools serving students who are in mostly a rural setting. Our students are exceptionally creative and passionate.
Creativity is vital to students in our ever-changing society and we nurture that creativity in the Arts, by exploring a wide variety of discipline including visual arts, music, and theatre.
Our mission is to instill in students the academic and social skills essential for responsible and productive citizenship in a global society.
My Project
These materials would enable us to install a new and working sound system for our auditorium. This is essential in having a professional and respected arts program, as well as essential in providing programming to our entire school population!
The ability to have a functional sound system would help us to reinvigorate our arts department by offering top quality concerts, recitals, dance and theatre productions and more!
This project would include new speakers, sound board, and wireless microphones for our students to show their talent. Giving these students real-world opportunities to perform for their families and friends will give them the boost they need to follow their dreams and continue pursuing the arts throughout their lives.
