My students are identified for the Gifted and Talented program. This program is called SAIL. It stands for Students Actively Involved in Learning! My students were tested in second grade to see if they qualified to take the gifted class that I teach. They come to my class once a week for enrichment and gifted services. They are taught language arts, math, science and social studies. We are a project based learning classroom which means we do research and projects on a regular basis.
My students have been working in the school garden for two years. We need your help to keep it going. We are asking for your help to give us the tools to work in our garden safely. Our garden hose is on the ground and we continue to step on it. We need a reel to keep our hose wrapped. We would also like a picnic table next to our garden to work on our garden journals. Usually we are work on the ground next to the garden. We also could use some cushions to kneel on while we weed. Please help in any way you can.
