Students have organized to form a Garden Club at our high school. They are interested in learning more about gardening and how to grow their own plants. The goal of this club is to promote a positive relationship between humans and the environment. At the high school, students have little interaction with green spaces throughout their day. The Garden Club would provide hands-on tasks for students to engage with as they learn about gardening techniques and apply them to the care of their own plants. The students are interested in exploring ways to grow plants indoors so on our list of needed materials are grow lights and heat mats along with general garden supplies.
The students are passionate about taking care of their environment, and this club will support them in pursuing this interest.
The Garden Club is very motivated, but we are lacking the resources to fully realize our goals. Your donations would be incredibly appreciated and would be put to great use by this bright and responsible group of students.
