My Students
My students love to work on projects and show their vocabulary knowledge. They are students that need all the resources to help them be successful and help them gain word and letter recognition. They need a variety of materials like: Play Doh, letters, math cards, games to help them activate and exercise their brain while learning. Their primary need is to have that language acquisition they need.
About 90% of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.
My Project
Our students will have the opportunity to use games as part of knowledge acquisition. Games will help them exercise their brains. Games will give them the chance to create,produce and learn. Struggling writers will have the option to play a game to learn. The students will work with a partner and will become experts to play the last twenty minutes in school. This will help with any behavior issues. The students will relax and will reflect on behavior. This will help all the class perform better and follow the school and classroom rules. It will help them build their self esteem while working with other classmates.
With good and a variety of these games and resources, they will succeed in school by gaining confidence to be able to create words and write them by using materials like Play Doh.
This activities will be done the last 30 minutes of the day. The class will divide into smaller groups to learn and play with each other.The students will interact with each other and will show mastery playing games or creating for a purpose.
