Kindergarten is such a fun and lovable age! Five and six-year-olds are a pleasure to be around all day. They are like little sponges soaking everything up. We cover all subject areas each day - the whole group read alouds, small group reading, comprehension, writing, math, word study, science, and social studies.
My little friends enjoy exploring, creating, discovering, learning, and working together.
We are very hands-on. We use flexible seating that allows my students the freedom to move around as needed. We work together to help everyone have the best day possible. My students feel special and loved every day.
My Project
In this Donor's Choose project, I asked for a variety of materials that range from bins to stools.
Math Manipulatives
We are very hands-on in kindergarten, especially during math time. I have found a lot of good games and learning strategies using different types of dice to reinforce number sense and computation skills. Please help us grow our little math brains.
Speaker
Music is a big part of kindergarten. We can use music to help us relax, to get our wiggles out, to say good morning, and so much more. This speaker will help us add more of that to our daily routine.
Furniture
My goal is to keep the classroom clean and organized as possible. There are bins on this wish list to keep our math centers sorted, as well as to store materials by topic. This list also includes some new furniture such as different types of stools to allow for flexible seating around the classroom.
