My TK students are 4 and 5 years-old! Many of my students are experiencing the classroom setting for the first time!
They are a very active group of children who come into class each day full of excitement and anticipation for what they will be doing and learning!
My students love coming in and creating with their hands. These kiddos truly enjoy learning through hands- on activities such as building and playing educational games.
Everyday is a new adventure and it is such a blessing to watch the joy in their eyes as they create and learn in class.
My Project
Young children learn though hands-on, play based activities and making direct connections to the world they live in. Playing file folder games with their peers gives them access to the fundamentals of reading and math in a developmentally appropriate way.
File Folder Games are perfect for small group instruction while giving opportunities for the children to develop cooperative team building strategies and social skills.
In Tk, the students are learning sharing, patience, and how to support their friends' successes. Playing games that correlate to the TK Language Arts, Math, and Science curriculum gives the students direct access to academics through hands on play while supporting their emotional and social development.
