Each morning in my kindergarten class, we start our day together with a song and a smile! My students are ready to learn!
I have an enthusiastic class of eager kindergarten learners!
They come from a variety of backgrounds, but all share a love of being together in our classroom. Our school is a high performing K-5 elementary school in a suburb of Washington D.C., where many students come from military families.
This is their first school experience, and they are thrilled to be in full-day kindergarten. They are excited about learning, and, more importantly, they are excited to share their learning with each other!
My Project
My students love using hands-on materials to reinforce their learning both inside and outside of the classroom.
These card stock pages and laminating sheets will enable the creation of colorful work station games and activities.
These inviting materials will keep student interest high and provide engagement as they practice previously learned information in a new way.
Not only will these resources help me create fun games for in-class use, they will also be used for Discovery Backpacks-- which extend the home/school connection as students bring them home to play them with their families!
