Our rural school is a K-12 school located in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley. Our elementary school is K-3, serving about 300 students. My class has diverse learners, including students who have IEPs, 504s, special needs, gifted students, and everywhere in between. I want to provide every one of my third-grade students with a learning environment that meets their educational needs and emotional, social, and physical needs. My students work hard and are excited and eager to learn.

My students are eager for new experiences and chances to explore the world around them. Whether it be through using tablets, performing science experiments, reading about faraway places, or using special seating to make learning more comfortable, I want to provide them with these opportunities in any way I can. My DonorsChoose projects will help make this year, and future years, as successful as they can be.
My Project
I would like to purchase some games to keep in our classroom for when we have some extra time between subjects. I would like these games to encourage cooperation among students. I also think it's important for our brains to do a different kind of thinking during our school day. Having the opportunity to play games and use our brains to strategize or think creatively is very important!
Games such as Battleship, Uno, Jenga, and Connect 4 will help my students learn to work together, while also using their brains to think ahead and plan based on their observations.
