My Project

Board games are a fun way to break the ice! My students absolutely love playing board games in the classroom. If students work hard a finish early they get board game time!

I love seeing students who do not usually talk gather around a table to play a game.

Games bring community to the classroom and help with brain function! They soothe stress, help students learn teamwork, help with cognitive functioning, higher order thinking skills and decision making.

I have mostly games from the thrift store, many are missing pieces. Updated games and new challenges will get my students playing together in the classroom!
