My students need board games, and activities for rainy days inside, that are still instructional. In addition we need the construction paper for art projects.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our class is small, but mighty. We have 9 students with Moderate to Severe Disabilities. We are learning to read and learning our numbers. They love hands-on materials!
We are a title one school, grades K-8.
We have over 900 students. My class is a class for students with Moderate to Severe Disabilities. We use a Functional Skills curriculum. I have students in grades 2, 3, and 4. We have 9 students in our class. They are a lively bunch and love new and exciting activities. They also love to do hands-on lessons.
My Project
The activities we have chosen will be used in a variety of ways. The sorting pie will be used for sorting skills, color identification, fine motor exercise and counting skills. The games will be used for language and social skills development. The construction paper chosen will be used in various art projects that we do once a week throughout the school year.
Donations to this project will help us expand our materials that support our curriculum.
New items help bring out language in our students and engages them to try new things, and to grow and learn. They will help our students learn new language, fine motor strength, counting, sorting, and improvement of social skills.
