Our school is located in a suburban neighborhood in northern Virginia. Our elementary school consists of approximately 900 students. We have the largest military student population in our expansive county. We are proud to work with these dedicated military families and hope to provide the necessary materials to create meaningful learning experiences. Our families are involved and value authentic moments in school.
My classroom is comprised of 28 eager kindergarten students.
They love hands-on learning and enjoy exploration and play. I want to try to provide engaging resources to help students build critical thinking skills and continue to develop a love for learning. I look forward to introducing new materials to my young learners.
My Project
My class would use the ink and lamination pouches to develop center games that match thematic units. Young children love novelty and fresh ideas and this will help keep students engaged in learning. Colorful games will be appealing to my students and the lamination pouches will ensure that games are durable and last for more than one season of use! I love having the opportunity to provide new materials that students are excited to use and help to strengthen skills in the classroom. Having these materials will also allow me to print leveled games for my students. I think it is very important to differentiate to keep students on task and highly engaged!
