My students need interactive learning games Tiggly Math Blocks Interactive Learning Games, Osmo Genius Kit and Square Panda Phonics Playset to work on STEM projects.
I am a teacher of the most adorable Kindergarten students. I teach in a school where 100% of the students qualify to receive free lunch. Every asset a child receives can help them make tremendous gains in their education. These students are young and eager to learn anything being taught! Unfortunately, funding in schools is limited and teachers are left to fund anything extra they want to use in their classroom. I want my students to have every opportunity to learn, regardless of funds.
My Project
My students will use these interactive materials along with tablets and iPad to create STEM projects. This will allow students to think outside the box and be creative. The activities are structured enough to allow students to have independence while working on STEM based learning. The Osmo Genius Kit will be used in centers time. Students who need an extra challenge will be given task to complete through the interactive app. The Junior Learning Tonics will be used for my students who need a little extra practice. The app will teach the students at their academic level through interactive play. With square panda students will learn to spell words and build on their understanding of phonics. Students often gain more while learning independently through trial and error. These programs will allow them to achieve this style of learning. Technology also keeps students actively engaged in what they are doing. The STEM projects will allow them to work with technology on mathematics and reading skills through interactive play. These materials will make learning both fun and meaningful.
