This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are making up for lost time on campus in all content areas, so what better way to catch up than playing a game?!

My third-graders love hands-on learning opportunities and being able to work with their classmates.

They are also quite competitive, so games are a definite plus for them.

By incorporating the Mastering Math Games Library and Math Machines, my students will have multiple opportunities to sharpen skills in place value, fractions, counting money, telling time, and math fact automaticity. The Can Do Science Games will not only reinforce and expand on content covered in our class this year, but will support learning from other grade levels and peak curiosity in multiple areas of science as well.
