Help me give my students games to help build critical and creative thinking skill while reinforcing valuable cooperative learning skills and strategies.
Inquisitiveness. Uniqueness. Ingenuity. Persistence. These are just a few things that I love about my students. Despite being from a Title I school and coming from low-income families, these students come to school every single day with a positive attitude and ready to explore learning.
Out-of-the-box, creative thinkers describe the thinking process for my students.
They never allow obstacles to stand in their way. They never give up, pushing through difficult task with extreme grace and tenacity. My students embrace learning every day with vivaciousness and zeal and are eager to be successful in the world around them.
My Project
I believe that students need the opportunity to interact with their peers in cooperative learning situations. Playing games that require students to utilize creative and critical thinking skills is important for the development of their cognitive abilities.
Students benefit tremendously when they are allowed to develop their critical thinking skills in an environment where they feel like they are playing.
Games are a great opportunity for students to strengthen their creative and critical thinking skills while reinforcing academic learning standards and the development of the importance of working cooperatively with peers.
Games allow students to work collaboratively, problem solve, and explore learning strategies in a fun and entertaining way. Students will be progressing their learning, thinking, and collaboration in ways that are fun.
