My Students

My students are learning from social studies books that are nearly twenty years old. To avoid having them misinformed with out-of-date information, I have to provide my own resources. This can be costly, and your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Arizona pays less per student than 48 of the other 49 states.

With that in mind, funding for new social studies materials is not something that will be happening any time soon.

More than two-thirds of our students come from low-income families.

My Project

Kids love to compete with one another. Even better...competing and learning at the same time. It is amazing how much a person can learn from interacting with others during play. Game always make learning more engaging and allows for different types of learners to gain and retain content.

The games being requested will grab the attention of my students and lead them to learning that will stick for years to come.

It is important that the students have a basic understanding of the topics covered in the games as they will be building on that knowledge for the next few years.
