My Students
I am a 4th year special education teacher with 11 students. My students are on different levels of the autism spectrum; they are so sweet and are just trying to navigate in this strange world that we are all trying to exist in.
My Project
My project consist of fun and engaging resources and manipulatives that can help my students gain pre-math and pre-alphabet skills that should have been learned at an earlier age.
Some of my students do struggle with learning the basic fundamental skills to be successful in learning advance learning skills.
Learning should be fun and engaging, but when you are lacking the basic fundamental skills, how can it be? Lacking the basic fundamental skills can cause frustration and the desire not to want to learn.
I want learning to be fun for my students. Not just text book learning, but fun hands on learning.
