Help me give my students the Real Projects Workshop, the Melissa and Doug Pet Care Center and Care Accessories, the Beauty Salon and Hair Stylist Dress Up Set, and the Bakery dress up set.
Our students from our program are individuals from families that are under 100% poverty. Our program is a free service to these children and their families. Our program is a NAEYC accredited center and we are rated level 4 with Paths to Quality.
My students have a great desire to learn about the world around them.
We provide great opportunities to make learning fun with hands-on experiences in learning areas. Children gain skills through the areas of social skills, mathematics, literacy, language, approaches to learning, science, and more.
My Project
My students will use the chosen materials when particpating in dramatic play experiences during center time. These dress up sets and pretend play materials will allow children to learn about a variety of occupations and learn important skills that are required of those professionals.
Pretend play experiences of children lead to great life experiences for our future leaders!
These materials will assist my students in gaining an interest in learning about occupations they they may enter into as adults and they will help them understand how every occupation has an important purpose. These materials will assist my students to build specific skills and make them excited for their future.
