My Students

My students are one of a kind, each their own quirky little scholar. I teach fifth graders at an intermediate school, opening here soon to our first year together. Our community is growing so much that the district just moved all the fifth and sixth graders into a new building. The fifth graders in our community love to play outside. They introduced me to a new game, GaGa Ball. It brings all students and even staff together to play! I had never heard of it until moving to this school district and I love it just as much as the kids do!

My Project

Our school is a brand new school in our district. Our community is growing and all fifth and sixth graders will now be in the same building. The building we have moved to does not have any recess or free time playground equipment. The building I am coming from had a GaGa Pit and the kids (and staff) absolutely loved it. Therefore, I am requesting one for our new playground.

It is a fun game that anyone can play.

It brought together students from all different backgrounds and grades. It's high energy and so fun to watch as well. If you weren't playing, it is highly likely you were watching and cheering on your friends.
