Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are an amazing group of children hungry to learn. They are wonderful, loving children. They do well with structure and organization. Being out of school for so many months has not been easy for them, so they are hungry to learn.
The students have a variety of learning styles, and I have to always differentiate my instruction.
They have many special needs but are eager to succeed. They enter the classroom each day full of energy and excitement for what is in store for them on that day.
One hundred percent of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. We are working on improving student outcomes by reaching out to DonorsChoose.org.
My Project
This document camera will help students with visual learning, especially while I teach students remotely from my classroom. I can put books, worksheets, science materials, and math manipulatives right onto the promethean board with such a clear futuristic look that will grab the children's attention and improve students understanding. Whether they are learning remotely at home, or in the classroom, this will enhance all of my lessons and give students a better model to easily follow. I can also put the ipad on the board and model how to best use the technology in the classroom.
