My students are the future. They come from diverse backgrounds, and thrive on learning and exploring each day. They love to engage in their academics and have fun doing so! My students enjoying working together to discover new things. They soak up new information and continuously look for new ways to push their limits.
My students are hardworking, dedicated second graders who take every opportunity to enjoy school, their peers and the world around them.
Our school is an engaging and exciting second and third grade building of about 400 students. We are located in a small, tight-knit village where the community supports and recognizes the amazing things that go on in our district every day.
My Project
Every day my students come to school with a smile and are eager to learn. Having Manipulative Libraries for each table will allow students a way to learn and interact at the same time as they explore their creativity. They will collaborate and share the tubs while engaging in conversations about their projects as well as about their lives. These Manipulative Libraries will encourage teamwork and self-directed learning.

Students will find these tubs engaging and fun and excited to start their school day. These tubs allow student to engage in higher level thinking skills, create and build, as well as participate in speaking and listening skills. With little time for recess, the morning tubs will help to facilitate conversations that happen during this time of the day.
