Future STEAM Programmers, Coders, Data Analysts in Need of iPads!
Help me give my students 5 iPads to help them code, program, and record and analyze data for STEAM learning, using Project Lead the Way activities and programs
I teach in an low socioeconomic agricultural based community, which supports education. My children are highly motivated to learn, curious about the world, excited about the prospect of going to college, intellligent and academiclly absorbant, and eager for opportunities to further their expericences and knowledge.
My classroom and students are in need of five iPads to help us merge into Project Lead the Way, a STEAM program that has them learning coding, scientific method, data recording, analyzing science projects, and expanding their overall inquisitive personalities.
The children in my class learn through a fun, energetic, caring environment which encourages them to be kind, helpful, supportive, and to work cooperatively with each other. They are curious, happy, energetic, eager to learn, and excited for any activities that are STEAM based!

My Project
I-Pads are an integeral part of Project Lead the Way's introduction to coding, engineering, programming, data analysis, and other STEAM related activities for my second graders.
The IPads provide an interactive way for the children to engage in fun, hands on learning which involves critical thinking skills, experimentation, data analysis, and communication and cooperation to accomplish problem solving.
With iPads children will work in small groups of 4-5 and this will allow ALL children to have input into problem solving, sharing ideas, experimenting, redesigning, and accurately collecting and analyzing data experiments.
Thank you for your incredible support for these children. Most do not have technology at home that involves deep thinking skills, and this will be a life changer for many!
