My students need the Ready-To-Go Listening Center along with the student microscopes. I believe in exposing my students to real world examples, and these supplies will allow me to do so.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a 3rd grade educator. The staff at my school embrace students, families, and community to build and develop well-rounded individuals who are independent critical thinkers and are motivated, lifelong learners.
My students live in a community that is classified as low-income, high poverty, where crime is rampant, which limits the resources needed to provide them with the education they so urgently deserve.
However, not understanding the magnitude of their situation, students come to school every morning from unimaginable experiences ready to learn.
Students love to learn and are filled with energy and excitement. The students enjoy learning new concepts and get excited when they master a new and challenging skill. Exposing them to STEM activities, class resources like different literary genres, and classroom materials will make their daily learning more fun.
The culture of our school is that of a family. We build positive relationships with our students and parents first and foremost, which is why each student has at least one staff member they can trust. All students have support, both personally and academically. That is why this career is so rewarding. We truly make a difference.
My Project
My students love to explore nature and their surrounding areas. In order for them to be able to clearly understand how nature and science work, they must be able to experience it for themselves. Some of the resources include the ready to go listening center, student microscopes, and goggles.
Having them use real-life tools like the student microscopes, they will be able to see how things work on a cellular level.
By donating to our class project, you will be allowing my 3rd graders to experience science on a new level.
You will be unlocking the minds of future scientists. Thank you for considering our project.
