I have a fantastic second grade class with 18 students. Most of them are 7 years old, a few are 8 years old. This age group is wonderful, because they are excited about learning new things. And, they still enjoy pleasing their teacher.
These future scientist and engineers absolutely love science and light up when science class includes an experiment!
They enjoy working with partners or in small groups on hands-on or STEM projects. They are imaginative and full of awe!
My students will use these materials for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) educational experiments. Often, it's difficult to round up all the supplies that are required for a project, so this assortment of basic tools will be an amazing help!
My students live for hands-on experiments!
These little Missourians will be turning peanuts into peanut butter in memory of the great inventor, George Washington Carver. In addition, we will be able to perform the weekly Science experiments on the back of our Studies Weekly magazine!
And finally, my goal is to pique students' interest in STEM projects, not because they have to, but because they love to!
