Future Mathematicians Need Manipulatives!
My students need math manipulatives to help them build, count, sort, add, and subtract!
Are you a hands-on learner? Do you like to learn by doing? My kindergarten kiddos do! They need multiple opportunities with concrete objects to master counting, sorting, adding and subtracting. Fun manipulatives will help little mathematicians succeed!
Many of my kindergarten students are impoverished.
Over 90% of my class receives free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch at school. Over 90% of the students in my class are also second language learners. Despite these challenges, they are also bright, happy students who love coming to school and are eager to learn! Our classroom is a safe place for them to practice, imagine, grow and learn.
Students will have many opportunities to solve math problems through play and hands-on learning! Some of my students need extra help with essential counting skills and concepts. I will be able to work with students who struggle with numbers by using engaging, colorful number peg boards and shopping number baskets. Great lessons, engaging materials and multiple opportunities to practice new skills will help my little mathematicians succeed!
Math manipulatives engage and energize little learners!
Even though many of my students are poor, they deserve a classroom environment that is rich with learning tools to help them learn and achieve!
