My first graders are small but mighty! They have an eagerness to learn like nothing I've ever experienced. All of them come from unique backgrounds and bring so many special talents and ideas into our classroom each day.
Our International Baccalaureate program works to challenge our young students with rich learning opportunities to help create strong global citizens.
We work through a comprehensive curriculum that specializes in global studies, entrepreneurship, and appreciation for the world around us. Yes, even first graders can be entrepreneurs!
Our kiddos are receiving an amazing combination of state standards and additional learning experiences through the IB and magnet programs. We are constantly updating, creating, and adding to our students learning experiences with new projects to improve their global understanding.
My little first graders are so eager to improve as readers it's unbelievable! They greet each new day with a smile and the type of enthusiasm you wish you could bottle up and sell. They're constantly looking for new ways to show off their skills and improve upon what they know.
Each one of my students is so unique that I want to ensure our classroom has rich, quality book choices for all of them.
The excitement on the face of a 6 year old who reads a new book by themselves is simply unmatched. This project will guarantee we start the new school year off with plenty of fantastic book choices for these little learners!
