My Project

STEM-based education is an area where special needs students may get left out or lost. I want to change that. I want to help develop my students' knowledge in STEM-based education with the activities in my project. STEM-based education is an opportunity for students with special needs to use problem solving skills and help create higher level thinking in fun ways.

My students thrive in an active, hands on environment which STEM-based education provides, and if you donate to my project they will have the tools to expand their education.

COVID-19 was a set back for my students due to limited in-class time and a limited variety of activities. They didn't get the opportunity to work together in groups or partners. They couldn't do any hands on activities due to not being able to share materials and not having enough of supplies. Now that can change.

With the STEM activities in my project, my students will have the opportunity to get back the learning they missed out on. They will be able to problem solve together and work on skills that may help them later in life. It will also help develop their creative side while learning as well. STEM-based learning is for everyone, so please help me get my project funded to further not only my students' education but lives.
