My Project

All of my Fish and Wildlife students love the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and just wildlife in general. Some of my students are also interested in becoming Game Wardens or in the area of forestry and wildlife conservation. This project will allow my students the opportunity to learn about various duck species, while completing a hands-on project. Agriculture classes are known for the hands-on projects we give our students the opportunity to complete, while learning about various areas in the agricultural field.

My students will be using the duck decoys to create an identical replica of a specific duck species to help them with their identification skills.

Part of my Fish and Wildlife class is species identification, where they learn how to identify different wildlife species using different techniques like track, scat, and visual identification. These decoys will allow them to learn and hone their visual identification of a specific species.
