Future Female Scientists in the Making Through STEMs Hands-On Activities
Help me give my students STEM activities such a building bricks, remote controlled pigs, engineering toys and Flip Crayons to so they can learn more about STEM and be STEM experts!

My students are very curious and energetic-they are ecstatic and passionate about learning, especially when its something hands-on.
95% of my students are from socio-economically disadvantaged background and 100% of them receive free or reduce lunch. They enjoy coming to school, and I adore teaching them. It is a joy to come to work each morning to see their smiling faces.
My Project
These STEM and engineering activities and manipulatives will allow my kindergartners especially the girls to explore science through hands-on activities. Each requested items such as the pigs, building blocks, engineering set, Flip Crayons teaches students to learn how to build, connect, experimenting with becoming a true scientist. Afterwards, they will use the Flip Crayons to illustrate what they created with their classmates.
These discovery kits and manipulatives will help increase my students’ vocabulary needed to be successful in school while bringing more engaging science learning to my classroom!
As their teacher, it is my duty to help my students see the bigger picture throughout the curriculum. This is the reason why I wish to have my students learn with a hands on approach.
