My Students

I have a fantastic group of students this year! I have 9 boys and 9 girls in my class. I am very fortunate to have 7 students whose families are from all over the world! Our class is learning that even though we all may not look exactly alike or speak the same language, we have so much in common.

We are focused on being good citizens by being kind and helpful.

Every morning when we do calendar, we say 2020 is the year of being a good citizen! We start our Morning Meeting by giving someone a compliment when we pick them to jump up and down to our fun "Good Morning" song. If you were to come into our class, you would see students engaged and ready to learn!

My Project

Everyday the students have choice time to be creative and explore our classroom materials. This is especially important because we live in a city that has a lot of bad weather days such as rain and harsh temperatures so we can’t always go out and play. The students will be able to learn how to work together to build and explore using the magnetic tiles and gears. They will be able to use their imagination to build new structures!

These materials will help them understand basic science concepts.

The students will be able to play and develop their engineering skills.
