Help me give my students art supplies to create and participate in our city planning project. Students at our school have budding talent in architectural design that needs to be fostered. Their works will lead to great writing.

My Project
What I love about my students is that they are especially artistic and inspired by art and design. What makes them special is they have the talent and intelligence but not the funding for class projects such as this one. I call it the City Planning & Writing Project, and it is different in that it uses art and architecture to inspire informational writing. These materials will make a difference because they will make it possible for my students to design their own cities, and use analytic skills to plan for the future. Once they use their reading skills to learn about the art of city planning, they will be able to design their own cities and create a plan for optimal transportation, water management, business and residential planning, parks and recreation , etc. for the future. The pencils and rulers will be used to draw our plans and take notes, and after our writing is complete, the acrylics will be used to brighten our design for classroom display.
