This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students in my classroom are very energetic and enjoy hands-on materials. They are very enthusiastic about trying different things in all learning centers.

Curious, innovative and eager to learn, my students experiment with all types of materials in the classroom.

My Project

These tools will enhance my woodwork center and will make it more inviting for boys and girls. They both will benefit with these materials experimenting safely while they develop fine motor skills, eye hand coordination, measuring and counting skills while they work independently with activities of their choice.

Curiosity with power tools, taking on a role and manipulating new things students will be able to work independently while developing new skills.

Children will drill their way making different designs, measure different objects, learn more about tools and gadgets and explore and discover the basics in engineering at an early age.
