Talented and Gifted Students of DES are a unique group of students who thrive on engaging learning experiences. Their diversity in both ethnicity and social-economic status provides them a variety of experiences and wealth of knowledge which is displayed in their personal and career interest. Our students are identified as talented and gifted early in their matriculation and provided services for their academic career. They are self-motivated, deep thinking, problem solvers who are able to able to use classroom learning to solve real world problems.

My Project

Our students are always searching for that "out of the box" learning experience.

When you bring an Apple desktop computer into the classroom, listening becomes discovering, interest becomes wonder, and passive learning becomes active exploration.

Lessons come to life with touch, motion, and sound. Apple also provides a plethora of teacher resources and personalized support to help teach every subject from reading to coding, in ways that kids can fully understand it. Mac is an engine for creativity. And helps capture the class’s attention like never before. All of which makes those magical, "A-ha" moments happen much more often. As creators and inventors we would love to enhance the classroom experience for this group of children. When they smile while learning, it makes EVERYTHING worth it.
