My students need little lockers to store their backpacks, clothing, and lunch boxes. We have minimal furniture for our classroom and it would be very helpful to have lockers for the students to store their items.

My Students
Our school is welcoming new Kindergarten students for the 2018-2019 school year. The students will be participating in our new K-2 Autism class. Their program will be individualized so that each student will be receiving instruction at their level.
The students in our new K-2 Autism class deserve classroom basics that will be appropriate for their age, size, and needs!
Our new students will be coming from all over our school district. It is our responsibility to ensure that they feel welcome into our community.
My Project
Having little cubbies where students can store their personal items, such as jackets, lunch boxes, and their work will support the students' organizational and independence skills.
We want our students to feel welcome by having essential supplies on the first day of school!
At this time, I received some classroom items from my colleagues. However, I am still searching for basic classroom items, including small tables, sensory items, and other learning materials. It seems as though it is up to our community to build this classroom. The clock is ticking!
Let's work together to ensure our new students have classroom basics and things we all consider essential- that includes furniture!
