I teach forty-four 4th grade students who are in General Education and Special Education. My school is a Title I school. My school was affected by Hurricane Harvey and we lost many items. Many of our students lost their homes and all of their belongings, as well.
My students are still coming to school every day with big smiles on their faces and ready to learn.
They are excited to learn new concepts and always try their best even though it is very challenging for most of them. They are dedicated to learning!
Our school suffered damage from Hurricane Harvey. We are rebuilding our classroom. My students come to school every day with huge smiles on their little faces ready and excited to learn. Even though we do not have everything we need, they are so happy and still learning every day. I am in need of 2 half moon tables to conduct small group instruction. I also have a resource teacher in my class as well who needs her own space for small group instruction. Our resource class learns better in small groups versus whole group instruction. We also need bed risers so we can elevate some of the students desks who prefer to stand rather than sit.
