My students need the stability balls to help them build core strength and help them focus during learning while at the same time being able to get their wiggles out.
I have amazing fourth graders! They really love to learn! They are wiggly (as most fourth graders are). They really would benefit from a way to help them focus while they work so hard at becoming the amazing little people they are! I want them to know how important they are. We are always working on ways to help them recognize the kindness and good in the world around them!
They are smart, hardworking kids in a low income school district, who work towards becoming the most successful students they can be each and every day!
They are a great group of kids and they are very grateful for the things and people they have in their lives!
My Project
These stability balls will help my students with their core strength while also building focus. This will help my students be able to use their minds and body to help them learn more than ever before. Funding these stability balls for my students would be an amazing opportunity to give my students the option of flexible seating to help them have self control over their bodies they may not normally have.
Students need to move, and through the stability balls, they will have their need to move met and be able to focus on learning each day!
Stability balls can help students with ADHD as well as anxiety take their minds off things so that they are more able to focus. A classroom set of these stability balls would be a great opportunity for my students to be able to learn in an environment that is comfortable for all, as I hope to always have. Students for many years will be able to enjoy and learn from these wonderful tools!
