My students need more space with less clutter. Having ottomans will provide students will a comfortable place to sit as well as keep our classroom nice and neat.

My Students
I am so excited to be starting a new school year with new students. My school has expanded and we are trying to create a new environment in a new building for these children.
Our students come from all over the area, ready to learn different ways of incorporating art into education.
I am so excited to continue teaching a 1st/2nd grade combination class that gets kids excited about drawing, music and other art. My students get to dive into hands-on projects every day and I'm lucky to be their teacher.
My Project
The dry rack I have in my classroom is very bulky and in the way. It would be really helpful to have 2 table top dry racks that would free up a lot of space in the classroom.
My students learn better in an environment that reminds them of home.
Having ottomans with cushions not only gives my students a comfortable place to sit while doing their work and reading, but it also acts as a great place to store bulky items. Keeping big items off the ground and hidden off bookshelves keeps the classroom more organized. Students will not be overly stimulated by materials and art supplies when they are neatly tucked away in storage bins.
My classroom library is a mess. Students just set books on top of others because they are constantly falling down. Having bookends in my classroom library would allow my students to be able to find the books they are looking for.
