My Project

As a 6-8th grade teacher and school-wide tutor, a major component of my instruction is based on collaboration among students. This means that students need to be mobile and able to quickly move around the room with their electronic device. A technology cart will ensure they are able to move further distances throughout the room while still charging their devices. An essential part of this collaboration is the sharing of student work. With the mobile scanner, I can quickly scan and upload student work to the smartboard so that students can share their ideas and analyze the ideas of others. When students aren't creating work with standard sized paper, they will use poster paper to showcase their ideas to the class. The flexible tilt stools will also support collaboration by allowing quick and easy access to a variety of spaces around the room.
