This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a very low socioeconomic backgrounds. Recently, our community was devastated by Hurricane Harvey. It has been some hard times for my students and their families since many of them were affected harshly by Harvey. I truly believe that through a fun and more interactive learning, my students can escape the devastation our community has gone through. Unfortunately, our classroom only has five computers that they use during the day. However, my students understand the importance of sharing and they work together according to their needs with our computers. I will love for my students to be exposed to a different type of technology and work in a fun and interactive way so they can be able to forget about their troubles for at least a while every day.

My Project

These iPads will empower my students with the most powerful gift a child can have, the love for a fun and interactive learning. Students will be able to improve their reading and math comprehension. They will be able to work, share ideas, and find their questions with just a click. These iPads will help them to improve their academic learning in a fun way. Today our world is full of technology, and my goal is to expose my students to this teachnology. So in their future, it will be easy for them to work and apply their knowledge in different types of technology.
