Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are from a Title I school and most receive free or reduced priced lunch. They love to sing, dance and enjoy hands on learning.
Access and opportunity is a limitation our students try to overcome with creative learning experiences and donors like you!
As teachers, we are striving to provide opportunities for knowledge and authentic experiences in our classes.
A great way to expose our students to such experiences is to provide the tools and creative planning to learn in a fun, engaging environment.
My Project
My students need new recess equipment. Providing these will support our students health and active lifestyle at school and motivate students to continue at home.
New soccer balls and jump ropes will be a great addition to our recess bag.
My students love soccer and outdoor activities.
